This morning we are wrapping up our “You Asked for It” series with a challenging, but very relevant topic. The topic deals with the roles of men and women in the church. I am going to expand this by zooming out and talking about how God designed men and women as well as the purposes that He designed them for. Some women get very uptight at the suggestion that they are created inferiorly or that they are somehow weaker than men. Some men get antsy when they here statements such as “buck up and be a man” or get out there and lead because that is what you were created to do. Or other such as be a man’s man and like what in the world is that supposed to imply? Lines between the sexes have gotten very blurred in our culture and has led to much confusion and borderline chaos. As I said this morning I want to lay out what God has to say about men and women because ultimately, He created them and has a distinct plan for them.
