I don’t know about you, but I am so thankful for the “Good News”.
- The Good News that 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ took each of our places on the cross and died for our sins. Each of us deserved to go to that cross and die for our own sin, but Jesus took our place.
- The Good News that Jesus did not stay in the tomb. On the third day He resurrected out of the tomb and today is very much alive and saving everyone that calls upon His name as Savior (Romans 10:13 and Acts 2:21) for the forgiveness of sin.
- The Good News that with His help we can overcome past failures and the effects of past sin.
- The Good News that with His help that we not only can deal with discouragement, but we can also overcome it.
The longer I live in this life the more I understand how truly good God is. I am so thankful that He chose 2,000 years ago to give each of us the opportunity to have an intimate relationship with Him through personal faith in Jesus Christ based upon His love.
I hope and pray that you are living the “Good News” and that you are enjoying all the benefits.
Blessings, Pastor Tom
